DIAGNOSIS
Calcified lesion seen in the abdomen no color pick up
It is a sterile chemical peritonitis that occurs due to spillage of fecal meconium into the peritoneal cavity usually due to a bowel perforation.
Secondary inflammation causes ascites, fibrosis, calcification and subsequently cyst formation
Intra peritoneal meconium usually calcifies within 24 hours.
