Findings reveal a narrowing due to extrinsic compression of the origin of the celiac artery by median arcuate ligament. This gives a characteristic hook appearance. Post stenotic dilatation of the celiac artery is noted as well.

CT angiography and Color Doppler are useful in diagnosing this condition, DOppler shows increase in flow in celiax axis (above 150cm/s) at level of narrowing in supine position.
